My grandson is in first grade and almost five foot.

That's not the scary part.

They had him take an IQ test because while other kids talked about the toys they got on the weekend he gave a talk about parallel universes.

I told his parents just let him be a kid but they won't listen. Don't let them start making him skip grades.

The IQ test was taped and sent to the state. Conference two days ago and it wasn't just the councilor and teacher and parents, but state officials attended. They said he isn't just a genius, he doesn't think like the rest of us think. He solved problems in a way no first grader should even be able to comprehend.

Now he gets special teachers, Especially in math and science. The state will pay for it.

They're going to steal his childhood, and it pisses me off.
