"Employers added 266,000 jobs in November and unemployment matched a 50-year low of 3.5%, signs the U.S. economy is withstanding a global slowdown.

Wages advanced 3.1% from a year earlier, an improvement from the prior month’s pace.

U.S. employers have picked up the pace of hiring. Jobs have grown an average 205,000 per month in the three months through November. That compares with average monthly job growth of 223,000 in 2018.

Hiring was strong in health care, restaurants and transportation jobs. In November, manufacturers added 54,000 jobs, 41,000 of which were in auto manufacturing. General Motors workers, who were on strike in October, helped drive the bounceback."

I worked for minimum wage, and was happy to get it, at 14...that's how you enter the job market...

What's the minimum wage in Guam?

What's wrong with that? That's how youngsters get their feet wet. Minimum wage jobs have a vital function in our society, that is why raising the minimum wage and thereby compelling companies to reduce those jobs is bad.

There should be no minimum...the market should be allowed to adjust and decide what the minimum is...allowing people to compete for jobs will result in better pay...

sadly you can minus at least 90% of those added jobs as fake

companies are putting out fake jobs to find all the people looking for work, they then sell your info to other recruiters in the hope they will get a placement fee.
This is called down selling, Up selling is when they have a vacancy. The companies are utilizing the free time HR and talent recruiters have in their jobs, thus making it more profitable too keep them.

and to top it all off, recruiters do the same.
if you actually read the fine print they say they going to share your information with 3rd parties

so 10% or even less is real jobs.

do you really actually belief almost every department in a company is hiring someone? Not only that, everyone is aware of jobs reappearing all the time, that is not from staff movement. Thats the business model

what they are not telling you is that they are locking you into a recruitment cycle, where they take ownership of your recruitment, thus if you apply directly to a company, some asshole recruiter wants to claim a fee

we have a recruitment problem and with a screwed view like this, companies feel free to still seek migrants,
creating more dependencies on government aid and increasing the debt
