I just retired from the Corps this week after twenty years. Sadly, we aren't far behind the Army in terms of being pussified. Fat Marines all around, girls with high and tights, guys with unkept, long hair, dudes with John Bolton-esque mustaches, kids in their 20s that can run a first class PFT/CFT, more betas than when I was a young butterbar, sloppy uniforms, buddy-buddy between NCOs and non-rates, SNCOs and NCOs, and junior officers with any of the above... I could go on and on. I saw this first hand with the Army when I was on the joint staff in Korea. Yep, we're right behind the Army. Sometimes you know when it is time to move on.
