Does anyone get the feeling that anyone supporting the police state now is a paid NSA shill?

Emerging tech will be anti-drone devices, designed to scramble the airwaves electronically in the immediate area to prevent drone-usage.

How much this will cost, and with what amount of (device) wattage needed will be that key to perimeter self-defense.

New Years Resolution.

Build private drone that looks like a broom and get Nancy Pelosi to ride it.

Equip it with a smoke generator then you could write "Surrender Nancy" in the sky with it.

They are terrified of "drones", and they really should be. Most people don't understand just how far the consumer market has advanced. I fly drones, I build them, I mod them. I have a drone I fly with VR goggles. It's range is only limited by it's battery. It can carry nearly twenty pounds. Imagine what you could do with such a thing if you had bad intentions. The thing is, the Second Amendment is not about "guns". It's about "arms", and those arms are not meant to be stuck in the 1700's. The Second applies to drones. It applies to murder bots. It applies to all military arms.

So what you are saying is we should all have gunships with nukes parked on a strip in our back yard?

Can you imagine the bullets flying every where if one were to use this to a tactical advantage?

If done correctly, you would not even need to arm your drone.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78239685

Exactly, this is how hard it is to shoot down a drone or RC aircraft...

Unless it's at close range, you should expect ALOT of ammo to be expended in taking an RC plane or a drone out of the sky.

Drones have turned into nuclear missiles for the common man.

No wonder the US Government wants them banned or regulated now.

No one is really safe.

I own a lot of property. Fly your drone around these parts gets one warning then a .273 Winchester snipers round.
Airports, private property, pools, etc......
It’s a risk you take knowingly.
Deal with it.
Your drone has no rights.

Exactly. Fully agree. Shoot it down.

Assholes will be using drones to stalk or harrass (or worse).

All the more reason to retain gun ownership in the US (self-defense).

I’m personally not a fan of those things, especially hovering around people’s houses harassing law abiding people that are just tending to their yard/garden, but I definitely hear where you’re coming from.
