They are terrified of "drones", and they really should be. Most people don't understand just how far the consumer market has advanced. I fly drones, I build them, I mod them. I have a drone I fly with VR goggles. It's range is only limited by it's battery. It can carry nearly twenty pounds. Imagine what you could do with such a thing if you had bad intentions. The thing is, the Second Amendment is not about "guns". It's about "arms", and those arms are not meant to be stuck in the 1700's. The Second applies to drones. It applies to murder bots. It applies to all military arms.

They never needed one. The law is ceremonial.

Can you imagine the bullets flying every where if one were to use this to a tactical advantage?

If done correctly, you would not even need to arm your drone.

There have been several reports over the past year revealing how the cartels are using drones to make their deliveries in the U.S. This is likely why this law was implemented. I'm unaware of what laws homeowners and other private citizens have when it comes to shooting down a drone that hovers over their property, so I am curious if anyone else knows what the laws in their state are on this. Also, now that UPS and Google offer drone delivery services, how will citizens know if the drone they see over their home is one of them, a private drone, or whether they are being monitored by some agency watching them?
