Are you talking about an 80% lower or something like that? Because you can sell your AR if you bought a serialized lower for your build. If you bought an 80% lower and milled it yourself then yes you can not sell that gun. If you did sell it you would be considered an arms manufacture which would be illegal. |

If you buy a serialized lower you do have to pick it up at your local gun store and do a background check....just like any other gun. The gun information is not givin to the ATF or FBI or your local sheriff. It lives in the gun store unless the gun is found at a crime scene or reported stolen. You can meet at the 7-11 and buy a long gun from a stranger. That way if they come to your house after tracking down the gun through the original purchase you can show them who you sold it too, and you did your due diligence by asking for their carry permit, which they had to have a background check to get. If you dont do this, you are better off not even knowing the persons name. If you knowingly sell a gun to a prohibited person you are liable, but you have no duty to research the person so you could just claim they were a stranger. Fuck You and your "responsible gun owners..." bullshit. Toadies like you are compliant bitches whose assent is necessary to allow the denigration of our "God Given Rights" which are Recognized, not granted, By The Constitution. Worried about selling to a "stranger"? Don't sell; but also don't infringe on your fellow American's God Given Rights.
