There are some incredible Horse-and-Rider statues in NYC. They all feel like a merging of the two, if you have ever ridden horseback, you know that amazing feeling. This statue, the horse seems separate, frightened. It is like he stole somebody’s horse. I dont know if it is because the sculptor is not very good (which is true) or it was intentional.
