Because when wages don’t support a single person welfare becomes daddy. There’s economic incentive to leave first baby dad dy for another baby daddy. More check, larger checks.

Sometimes a daddy who has to pay child support for an ex- baby has to scramble to get another woman and get her pregnant at least twice. Then his child support is decreased AND he gets to share new mamas welfare. If he pops out enough babies he gets a government house. He gets free healthcare.

Anyway, the image of a father is just painful to many in our society and it’s not always the man’s fault he’s not the father his baby mama wants. Sometimes she needs theee baby daddy’s for three checks in case some don’t come through or she needs one to pay her u set table so she has welfare stability
