I live in a white collar city mid Illinois. I used to volunteer for the Spirit store in the a.m. Every morning when the black girls filtered in all chaos ensued. Nasty language, pushing etc. One time my daughter accidentally really stepped on a black girls foot and she hit my super athlete daughter. My daughter did nothing ..which was the right thing to do and the Principle commended her for not retaliating. Jeesh. Our schools are lost
