Would you rather have to grow your own food, slaughter your own livestock, see your own clothing, and so on? Just to keep surviving in this world.

Survival isn't guaranteed, and for most of human existence, most humans have had to struggle just to survive.

I bet you don't mind being a "debt slave" while driving your car to a restaurant to get a nice meal prepared and served to with a nice glass of beer or wine to enjoy it with.

Seriously, you want out? Then stop being a pussy and do it. Go off the grid. Grow your own food, milk your own cows, slaughter your own chickens (or go vegan, whatever floats your boat). Sell your car, TV's, iPhone...all that shit to get the necessary items to get started. Nothing stopping you.

You need land to grow food. The government stole it from the natives, but they are going to give it to you?

That's why he/she/it should sell all worldly possessions and go buy a spit of land in the country. There's land for sale all over the place. Or if he/she/it already owns a house, start doing it there.

We aren't "slaves to money" any more than we are slaves to the need to eat, breathe, drink water, and have a place to take a shit. Money is just paper with no intrinsic value. We assign it a value, and it represents our work (or anything we do that has value). We all agree on this value, and trust that we will be able to get equal value when we trade that paper in for something we want/need.

Trust is the only thing that gives money value. I'd rather it were tied to gold, but in the long run that's pretty inconsequential because being able to trade my money in for gold in functional application of the real world is pointless. Paper money is a lot easier to carry around, use, and make change than gold. Imagine trying to go buy a burger but the only money you have on you is 1 troy ounce of gold valued at $370.
