LORD AND TAYLOR -GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

Lord and Taylor at Tysons Corner in Swamp enriched N. Virginia is going out of business, and not a minute too soon!!

I went there tonight with my husband and I charged $500 in sale priced gold jewelry for Christmas gifts.

After my card had been charged the $500 (the charge notification came to my phone) Lord and Taylor's register froze up, and they would not give me my Christmas merchandise nor commit to me that they had cancelled the $500 transaction!! Nor would they simply give me the merchandise and charge it later when their register recovered.

We waited patiently for an hour for the register to reboot, and finally we asked for a written note from a manager that our transaction had been cancelled since the $500 charge still showed on our account. They would not, nor would they give us any receipt nor would they let us record what had happened.

The clerks were rude and snotty to us-- all third worlders with no understanding of customer service or courtesy. We argued a bit with them and ......

Then they called the police on us!!!

But the officer let us file a civil police report and then all of a sudden they came up with a "transaction canceled receipt with no dollar amount on it.

Good riddance Lord and Taylor! scumbags!! The company was sold cheap, and who knows what scams the new owners have going for the stores they have left.
