How often do you accept offers of help?

There is going to be a lot more crying going on soon as more and more truth is revealed, so this is a very relevant question below. Crying means releasing pent-up emotion. If emotions are not expressed long-term, illness results. Many of us have "unspent" tears. We can test this out by pretending to cry. The body remembers emotional states and experiences, so pretending to cry can actually "bring on" the real thing:

Can you cry with the ease and immediacy of a small child?

I read something similar to this yesterday. It was about how when we are stressed or upset Nature produces water (tears) to 'cool' us down. If we do not release the tears then the stress/upset isn't cooled off and will still remain.

Indeed, AC: and earth also needs to"cool off". What is true for us humans is true for the earth too, as she is a living entity (with a very large body). If we have carried burdens for too long, we will break down and cry. After releasing tears and "getting it all out into the open", we may start to voice our anger, which is also important, but only an interim stage. I would say that earth is ill, and that she has been under tremendous pressure for a long time, and that there will be moment when she cannot take it any more.

What if everyone worldwide discarded their fear of ‘losing face’ and welcomed ‘failure’ as an opportunity to learn, instead of developing strategies of self-protection and defence?

Thank you for bumping this thread, AC from Mexico. Everything which happens on our earth, whether we understand it or not, whether we personally see or experience it or not, is the RESULT of our behaviour. This includes imbalances in nature, weather patterns, etc. The only solution to adverse results is to change that behavior. Each person can start with themselves, hence this thread. This is the only way - if each individual starts to think differently and behave differently in ways large and small - which will effect a different outcome.

It is wise to judge oneself, lest you be judged.

Indeed dear Saxon, and thank you for your comment "It is wise to judge oneself, lest you be judged".

There is actually no point in comparing ourselves constantly to others, because we will always find someone who is more capable, skillful, admirable etc in our eyes, than ourselves, and this will lead to feelings of inadequacy and resignation, tending to lead us into the position of victim or "follower".

Similarly, we will always be able to find someone who is less capable, skillful etc than ourselves, thus offering us the opportunity to feel superior, disdainful and more important than others.

To achieve BALANCE in our society, comparing must stop and self-reflection/assessment must increase. If we are going to compare ourselves to anything, IT SHOULD BE OURSELVES. We can use ourselves as a measuring stick, considering, for example, what we have learned over time and how we have developed SPIRITUALLY. If we have developed on a material/mental level, this is all very well, but if the spiritual side is missing, it means that we - collectively - will produce high technology for creating warheads instead of greening deserts.

So in the end I would say, perhaps; "It is wise to judge oneself, irrespective of how others judge us".
