Trying to figure out why I live in New York instead of Nevada

FYI it's estimated that about 25% of Nevadans own at least one gun.

Vegas' has thriving businesses pushing free/low-cost weapons training for women with certification. There's even a gun range located near the Strip.

Outside of Clark County gun ownership is even more popular due to the traditional Libertarian self-reliant views and the rural roots. LE might be too far away if a human or animal predator need to be scared away.
