I know exactly how you feel.

years ago, a voice literally in my head told me to "Go HOME!" I listened, and traveled an hour and half home. No longer got home, felt tremors (in sacto), water in fish tank went sloshing, and when I called my grandmother in the bay area, she told me she thought I was dead as the Nimits freeway came down due to a huge quake there...I was supposed to be traveling that on my way from richmond to fremont...will never forget it.

Looks like we have some more action taking place...

Wow! That sixth sense can be amazing—and useful.. I was in So Cal for Loma Prieta and in a high rise, and the building I was in swayed in that quake too—when we found out it was up North, we didn’t think there was anything left up there. Thank God you weren’t on the Nimitz and listened to that sixth sense and went home!

The article says the quakes happened in what’s known as the Winona Basin, a northern piece of the Juan de Fuca plane that broke off at some point.

Also that multiple quakes in this location are not unheard of, but it is rare for them to increase in intensity like these did.

Just talking about moving back to WA next year. Used to live in Bellevue, in Eastgate.
May not. What a beautiful place. Not the people but that whole area is nice. They are due. Been a long long time. Alaska due for a huge one and so is CA.
