I did Common Law stuff with the Indians for awhile. And what this VA thing seems to be is a massive Class Action. It will go to SCOTUS and be dumped. There is no way you go door to door and take peoples guns, in my reckoning. While we watch History being made, I wonder who will write the next chapter.

Well, what they've done, in places like New York, Connecticut, etc... is mail out orders to surrender the "known" weapons in your possession. Thankfully, people have mostly ignored them. So many, in fact, that nothing came of it. However, this latest breed of psychos is stressing the fact that they fully intend to ENFORCE whatever edict they foist on the citizens of Virginia. So who knows just how insane these monsters really are? I know what they WANT to do, and what they INTEND to do. The question is, will they do it? So, it was kind of like here when they wanted us to register our rifles and everyone filled out the form, sent an empty registered letter so they had (I won't say me, cough, cough) so we had a receipt and said 'I sent it off'...and pretty much avoided the whole thing.
