The 2nd amendment was written to entice the slave owning colonies to join the Union by guaranteeing they could keep their slave repressing militias in place. It was just a marketing decision and nothing more. Gun nuts today are a dangerous cancer for no reason. Grow up and play a sport or something where no one gets killed..
