The morning news in Richmond is reporting that Governor Northam will be announcing an emergency gun ban at the Virginia Capitol today in anticipation of Violence on Monday January 20th.

In a spirit of conciliation, the Legislature of West Virginia hereby extends an invitation to our fellow Virginians who wish to do so, to join us in our noble experiment of 156 years of separation from the government at Richmond; and, we extend an invitation to any constituent county or city of the Commonwealth of Virginia to be admitted to the body politic of the State of West Virginia, under the conditions set forth in our state Constitution, specifically, with the consent of a majority of the voters of such county or city voting upon such proposition; and we hereby covenant that their many grievances shall be addressed, and, we further covenant with them that their firearms rights shall be protected to the fullest extent possible under our Federal and State Constitutions;

I think the Counties in Virginia should seriously consider this invitation.
Strength in numbers and all that.
But most importantly, take the rural taxes (which in most States/Countries constitutes the largest proportion) out of the corrupt hands of Virginian legislators in Richmond.

It's probably about time that borders are redrawn.
If this catches on, you can isolate the "Safe Cities" completly and starve them of their funding.

Then, you create trade deals with them (they'll need food producded in rural areas, as well as many products from rural industry) and you tax the hell out of them.

This is a great opportunity to show the Liberals what happens under Socialism/Communism, when they can't put food on their tables or run the heating in their homes.

Forwarded to me by a patriotic and concerned Virginia State employee. The Governor is telling state employees to telework Monday vs. come to Richmond:


Secretaries, Agency Heads and Administration staff,

As you likely have heard, Governor Northam is holding a press conference this afternoon at 3PM with the heads of our public safety agencies to discuss an Executive Order that he will be issuing regarding planned demonstrations for Capitol Square on Monday, January 20. The Governor's priority is to make sure that all who work at and visit Capitol Square are safe. Due to multiple, credible threats that have been made regarding the demonstration on Monday- several from out of state individuals who are not associated with the organizers of Monday's event- the Governor will be prohibiting individuals from possessing weapons on Capitol Square during this time.

Monday is a state holiday so all non-essential employees should be home anyway. For those of you who have staff who work around Capitol Square and are planning to work on Monday, I would ask that you consider teleworking. If employees, deemed essential, are working and coming in on Monday, I would advise coming to work early and making sure they are aware that access points to Capitol Square will be limited and that the square will likely be quite crowded.

If you have questions please feel free to call me to discuss. Please take some time to talk with your employees and make sure they have options for not working in the office on Monday if that is what they prefer.
