Neoliberal policies have made cities unaffordable for 99% of the population

What is the point of even having a city if no one can afford it? Had these regulations been in place during the past, no major cities or meaningful centers of activity would exist at all in the present day US. When will the government and media admit that neoliberal policies have destroyed people’s ability to live prosperous lives as they continue to punish future generations and those most vulnerable in society? Will it happen in 2020?
