Sad that shit like that happens here once a week. 52 motorcycle deaths here every year. One a week. The only reason he is alive is he suited up for his ride properly.bikeflag waver

I know, right? Those inflatable motorcycle suits must fuckin work if it saved his life!

Anyone know pricing and research on those motorcycle 'airbag' suits?

Yea the decent ones start about $3500 hell you can buy a motorcycle for that much. But the suits are reusable, and definitely save lives!flag waver

Oh, well that's good. The suits are reusable.

So after your broken back and sternum and wrist heals up, you can get right back out there, on the road.

They weren't designed for vehicle impacts. They were designed for motorcycle crashes on a race track, when you high side @ 150mph. Takes a lot of the impact and disperses the energy.
Impacting a stationary object at speeds over a 100 miles an hour easily removes unprotected body parts.
Having any kind of suit on is really meant to protect you from surface abrasions and helps to prevent broken bones tearing through the skin and keeping your body parts connected and inside of a much tougher leather exterior. Skin can be like a wet paper napkin under extreme conditions. Ive been put back together more than a few times, and was grateful to be able to afford leathers and a quality helmet.
No better teacher than experiencing the inevitable thing about 2 wheel riders. Two kinds of riders those that have been down and those who are going to go down.bike The best in the world crash regularly. hf
