Taal is more dangerous than Popocatepetl .Close to Manilla biggest city in Philippines.Huge earthquake will happen during hazardous eruption.Damn !

There were dozens of earthquakes last year in Batangas province, which is where Taal is located. DOST-PHILVOCS just issued an update, they have upgraded Taal status to Alert Level 4 (on scale of 5 being highest). In other words, another eruption is imminent. All GLP'ers in Philippines stay safe. I'm in Nueva Ecija (Cabanatuan) about 100 mi (160 km) North of Mt. Taal. Areas of Metro Manila is about 50 mi (80 km) North of Mt. Taal and many reports of ashfall around area. NAIA airport is currently closed and flights being diverted to either Clark Field or other regional airports.
