We are talking about VEI 7 or 8 event .In this case magma reaches the surface multipe vents open not only main event and then it explodes .Horrible .Close cities would vanish like in atomic bomb explosion .That is scenario 1.Scenario 2 is VEI 6 eruption it causes the main Island (Volcano Island) to collapse and cause tsunami up to 40 m .Scenario 3 is lesser magnitude eruption .And scenario 4 is volcano returning to normal activity
