I went downtown last summer and was quite impressed with the revitalization. I've Noticed when storms lines get close to Detroit, Warren, Mount Clemens the pressure always goes up. The conditions can be as perfect as can be but nothing. Last night the radar showed a strong cluster of storms move toward our area then for no reason move up north then back south over Windsor. Completely missing us. I love thunderstorms, I grew up in Texas and seen some strong thunderstorms and tornadoes. I swear the weather is somehow directed away from here. I have full understanding of how weather works, as much as any other meteorologist. What I seen on the Doppler last night had me scratching my head. What's going on here? |

I live in Detroit and evrytime there is a thunderstorm forecast for our area, one of three things always happen: Quoting: Mr. Mannn -A line of storms which have held togethr from nebraska to central michigan, all of a suddent dissipate right before they get to detroit...why? -storms form all around detroit but never towards detroit -A line of storms comes towards detroit, breaks up with a hole right over detroit, then the hole reforms as soon as the line passes through detroit jesus is hiding in your closet |
