Listen, you worry about this and are right to.
My brother was telling me that while talking to on of those, the special things said that
"people only are nice because somebody is watching. People need to take care for when nobody is watching, because that is when bad things will happen."
Of course that adds on the mindset that you would only do something nice as long as other people can see that you are doing something. It is no wonder that they cannot be bothered to help another human being unless it gets them a like.

Self respect. You are worthy of trust. When you only stop because a cop is watching, you're a maggot that doesn't belong here. We operate on the honor system. That is my point, I remember a guy who told me as a child, "The guy who excuses himself when he farts or burps when nobody is around has real class." I know that it is silly but I have carried that with me a long time now. Most millenials are of the mindset that if you cannot prove it then it did not happen. Why do you think that they lie so effortlessly?
