Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78344283 This would be the second year in a row that money is redirected to the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border from military construction projects and counternarcotics funding. The administration will take $3.5 billion from counter-drug programs and $3.7 billion from military construction funding, according to internal planning figures obtained by The Post, compared to $2.5 billion and $3.6 billion, respectively, last year. Several dozen military construction projects have been delayed or suspended from last year due to the redirection of funds. [link to thehill.com (secure)] The border wall is simply more important than anything else the Pentagon might have in mind to spend 7B usd on, and 'If the wankers do not now come to their senses and clean up their stupid act, they may anticipate a rain of ruin from the sky, the like of which has never been seen on this Earth,,,' |

Provided the wall actually would have been able to curb rampant illegal immigration it wasn't a dumb idea. At the time, and likely now still, it's one of the biggest problems in the US. But diverting more, but not enough, money to this at this point is pure stupidity. I was willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt perhaps for too long. It's not like I was ever a "trumptard", they're all retards on both sides of the aisle. But this is dumb. They'll just fly the illegals in on your dime even if the wall gets finished, I hope you guys get that. If I was a Christian in the US I would be very upset about my options in the upcoming election and would be praying a lot about it. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78282282 You think they won't? You've got drones in some of your states, doing what they like in the sky, relevant authorities are acting perplexed on the one hand, but on the other hand, don't worry about it man. Your airspace is compromised. They'll just fly them in and tell you it isn't happening. This is dumb. |

This was upheld by the Supreme Court.
