I don;t think it's caused by co2 Earth's core is heating up, therefore oceans are getting warmer from the bottom up. "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change" |

Get a clue. If you put a pot of water on a burner on the stove and turn the burner on, what happens? The water warms up. Earth's core is molten rock that's heating up. The core is like a stove burner under the oceans. You figure the last part out. "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change" |

Meh, we've kept records of these sort of things for such a small amount of time, that nothing of any significance can be divined by analyzing the changes/trends in the data. The sample size just isn't large enough to determine if any of the changes we see are unusual or not. Additionally, that means we really can't reliably determine a cause for any of those variables. 'Correlation does not mean causation' should be plastered in every office of every climate change scientist. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55879742 The Sun is causing the warming which will continue until the new Ice Age, which is also caused by the Sun. The Sun is what resets the Earth around every 12,000 years. We have about 26 years until the Sun Mini Novas again. When it happens the side of the Earth facing the Sun will be blasted and this will absorb a shit ton of the Oceans, they will drop around 1000ft. You have to have a ton of H2O in the atmosphere to cause an Ice Age. And that is what will happen to the other side of the Earth that isn’t facing the Sun... You make the mistake of looking at a local situation (both time and place) and thinking it means anything in terms of trend. You have to look over very long period of time to observe trends.
