Meh, we've kept records of these sort of things for such a small amount of time, that nothing of any significance can be divined by analyzing the changes/trends in the data.

The sample size just isn't large enough to determine if any of the changes we see are unusual or not.

Additionally, that means we really can't reliably determine a cause for any of those variables. 'Correlation does not mean causation' should be plastered in every office of every climate change scientist.

I think we'll be experiencing a graphic forewarning of this this year. Mark my words.

The Sun is causing the warming which will continue until the new Ice Age, which is also caused by the Sun. The Sun is what resets the Earth around every 12,000 years. We have about 26 years until the Sun Mini Novas again. When it happens the side of the Earth facing the Sun will be blasted and this will absorb a shit ton of the Oceans, they will drop around 1000ft. You have to have a ton of H2O in the atmosphere to cause an Ice Age. And that is what will happen to the other side of the Earth that isn’t facing the Sun...

funny, here in HB Ca, the water is 56 degrees, not warm at all, in fact almost all of us are wearing a 4/3mm these days when usually we can easily get by with a 3/2mm wetsuit.

oh and this last summer/fall when the water stays in the 68-72 rang until mid November, it didn't. Instead it got cold late August and all the wetsuits came out and have been ever since.

We are in the middle of a solar minimum. So you fail. The extreme temps of the last 20 years are not sun related

You make the mistake of looking at a local situation (both time and place) and thinking it means anything in terms of trend.

You have to look over very long period of time to observe trends.

This obviously must be a result of battery operated cars and power generation from wind and solar. Before the above, there were no stories about the ocean heating up.
