I voted for Trump. But if he were running against Rand Paul,I would vote Rand Paul. He stands up alone for the truth all the time. I used to think he couldn't fill his father's shoes.Now I think differently.

He may not be as "charismatic" as Trump, but he adheres to the constitution more closely than anyone else in government.

It will not be political suicide if the majority of the country (and more converted/imported every day) are leftist communist. It is a soon to be failed state and the sooner the sane fess up to it and make other plans, the better.

Trump's much better for president. He might not be a great senator, but his proper role is dealmaking as president. Rand Paul could not make all those great foreign deals, now Iran's mullahs are teetering, Mexico and Central America have agreed to stop the undesired migrants, etc. etc.

If Trump is removed before this term is up, then runs and is elected shortly afterward in 2020, can he run again in 2024?

McConnell has taken such a strong position in support of Trump, that his leadership could be called into question should there be any decent in the ranks.
He won't let that happen , those that may not fully align with Trump , certainly align with McConnell.

Who could really argue against that.

McConnell's wife also works in trumps cabinet. McConnell is completely incapable of objectivity and should recuse himself. Any member of the senate who would let McConnell speak in their stead should be tarred and feathered. In a loving way of course.
