We have some trees that started turning and dropping leaves a week ago. That NEVER happens in August in Indiana.

i lived in the hills of PA back then. can tell stories of all the snow.more than we get nowadays.i also remember hauling firewood in.it got below 0 in FEB for days. when it went above 0,there was wood to haul in again. 1 year it snowed so much,we actually had to walk home in knee deep snow.my dad was stuck on our road half way from the corner,where we got dropped off at, to our place. he ended up shoveling the car out the next morning.

My personal opinion is this is a feint, designed to distract from the real military buildup across the Strait from Taiwan. There's just not enough hardware in the Pangong Tso region for anything more serious than small skirmishes.

Not to mention I see too many people wearing the masks over their mouth only, or even worse, on their chins. It's like I try to tell executives about IT, Safety, and Security: I could spend $100,000 on systems designed to protect the employees and the corporate network, and it still comes down to one idiot opening the wrong attachment in an e-mail or forgetting to attach his fall harness. You can never fix the human element.
