Want to ask our European friends if any have seen Greenland yet...apparently it was released overseas first I read..kind of the opposite of the way movies are usually released...in the US first and then Europe...very curious about it since an asteroid takes out Florida...

Evening, lovely people. It'll be interesting to see how the Labor Day weekend plays out. It's unseasonably hot in CA right now (not too bad here, but most of the State is getting really high temps.) A lot of our parks and beaches are closed, to keep crowds down.

My neighbors and I are all feeling quite grumpy that the city has decided to close off our street and put in outdoor dining literally right outside our front door. It's in line with what the ordinances permit, and I'm sure the local businesses appreciate it, as it will bring in more business ... but now I literally can't leave my home during daylight without walking into a crowd of mask-less people. The dining area is between our front door and the lot where I park. :( I'm really hoping that it being outdoors, and me wearing a mask, will be enough.

Hope you are all staying safe and are well, and that you get to enjoy the weekend in some fashion, safely.
