My problem is this..... we used to have to check our files out.....I am not excusing their mistake, but it’s a bureaucracy .... so I would read everything and then write my questions down.

Don't want to argue, but my experience with mil health care as an enlisted spouse is WAY different than an officer family. I promise you the caste system is still alive and well in the military. We weren't trusted with our records. I didn't get mine until the last base the family was on closed. When we PCS'd, our records were SEALED in a large envelope. Heaven help us if we opened them. There used to be official punishment if they were opened. I don't know how it is now, but I just can't imagine it's much different.

I vaguely remember champus..... I only experienced tricare once visiting my stepdad in Tucson. And I remember having my records with me. And definitely not sealed. I had carried from Ohua, to Arizona to Quantico.... I preferred the naval doctors to the ones at Ft Belvoir.

So yah..... I rarely saw the differences in households because my stepdad was highly sought after aircraft mechanic. He was golden. But my grandfather had custody of me.... so you are right, my records would have reflected that.

I would imagine there is a policy in place not to disclose specifics around threats made that are of such nature that they would require a ongoing criminal investigation. She was likely made aware of things that haven't hit the news yet.
