I've noticed, the past several weeks, that a supplement company that I think is named "Nature's Bounty", when it advertises a product, let's say a vitamin C product or somesuch, ends the ad with a picture of the advertised product with, at the very end, a bottle of D3 leaning around from the rear of the main product and a bottle of Zinc leaning around from the other side.

Never a mention of the D3 or the Zinc, they just appear as "silent accomplices" at the very end of the advert.

Subtle, yet interesting based on what we've talked about here since way back when.

All the things they mention 'might' help avoid getting sick, for imagineering sake let's just assume they might help you not to get sick. Do not assume they will prevent infection or your ability to spread infection. Adhere to all preventative measure's of spreading infection regardless of your adherence to a diet prescribed by the dailymail (seriously, why are you doing that?).

Also Tuna is the most radioactive thing you can possibly eat that is harvested freshly from normal earth, just so you know.

Funny, I just noticed my magnesium (that we talked about the other day) is Nature's Bounty. What form of magnesium did you get again? I'm not sure I got the right kind. The pills are kind of big, too.....this is the reason they leave it out of multi vitamins (so I read). It makes them too big.

I'd have to do a few hours of research but I would not be surprised if there were known bad interactions in large doses that would warrant a company to not advertise the combination directly for liability reasons.

Keep in mind a lot of those folks read forums like these and then consult lawyers before things hit marketing. If not marketed to be taken together, it's not their problem what happens with you by taking their products against advice from their fine print.

Yes, they are allowed to advertise, but they are not allowed to give medical advice. Suggesting it is another matter.....
