Guard said that the nursing home and 2 other nursing homes where in lock down because of the covid-19 virus. He was not able to do his schooling yesterday, In the big little town Vancouver Washington, on the outskirts of Portland Oregon. These nursing homes have college students doing on the job schooling. That would give a maximum incubation period of 20-25 days in this case. So that would mean international quarantine protocols should be 20+ days at least, not 14. . |

I was really dubious of this ACE2 theory originally, but it is remarkable that the US and European cases seem to be so mild so far. We should have had more people going through the critical phase where they need breathing support. Maybe it's just not being reported, but it seems like people are "recovering" and leaving hospitalization much faster than people in Asia. |

My grandfather broke his hip last summer so he has a night care giver who takes him to bathroom at night and lets the family get sleep. Care giver goes to medical school in a program where he trains at nursing homes. He showed up at the nursing home yesterday and it was locked down, he couldnt get in so he asked the guard whats going on? Guard said that the nursing home and 2 other nursing homes where in lock down because of the covid-19 virus. He was not able to do his schooling yesterday, In the big little town Vancouver Washington, on the outskirts of Portland Oregon. These nursing homes have college students doing on the job schooling.
