So, being the type I am, I went at it. Got a crate of them in. So tonight I go collect her and she takes two of my bottles out the boot of the car, and vanishes back inside. 10 minutes later she comes out and before she gets into the car, asks me for the wash kit. (Portable shower) She gets out the stand mat, and promptly hibbiscrubs herself there and then. Head to toe. I'm not saying hell all at this point because I'm 'old uncle doom' - but she squares herself away and gets into tracksuit bottoms and a t shirt. I didn't say a thing, but as we drove away - I saw that she was NOT the only person doing it in that car park. We went down the multistorie and right there, two nurses scrubbing down. This is a southern England major hospital. We are now sat debating as to when the time has come to walk the hell away from it all for a couple of weeks. Yesterday, imho. |
