The most devastating part of this outbreak has passed and unfoutunatly has occurred in the densly populated areas of Wuhan and so-on.

Everytime the virus is passed from person to person subsequent to the spreader themselves being ill, that component has possibly changed imperceptibly. In Sars, it changed so much that it rendered itself benign by the time the epidemic ended.


The virulance that has proved to be so lethal initially has subsided and the evidence is in plain sight.

My prediction is that beyond it's initial profound and lethal beginings, it will lose it's current lethality and this is beggining to be evidenced. I'm not a shill, or a chicom, or chinese sympathiser, I just have a point of view based on current events.

I think the main reason for stopping shipments from (and into) China has little to do with the fear of things staying on surfaces, and more to do with the logistics of shipping and the crews that are needed to man the shipping vessels. Those are the real danger, as they could spread the virus ... either those delivering, or those receiving shipment.

So where are we with this now?

There were 2 million cases in the UK this time last year. It was no big secret.

I think they are hiding all the deaths under flu or pneumonia. There were 8 reported deaths in one week alone in CT. Seems pretty high for the flu.
