Europe Under Seige

What I laid out in my update last week has now come to bear. The virus is now solidly entrenched in all of Europe.

We are now beginning to see just how grim the situation is for Italy.

Since yesterday, every country that shares a border with Italy with the exception of only Slovenia is now confirming cases of the Wuhan Coronavirus:

Monaco, France
Switzerland
Austria
Croatia

Last month, I discovered that once a local region surpasses the threshold of 230-264 cases, it begins a critical mass chain reaction of infection that is unstoppable in that area no matter what precautions are taken.

Italy is now at 283 confirmed cases and has crossed the Rubicon both literally and figuratively.

The extent of infection is much more severe and widespread than realized, being evidenced by countries encircling the doomed nation now having pockets of infection as well.

A reasonable person can assume that Slovenia will be added to the list shortly.

Elsewhere in continental Europe:
France: 12 cases 1 death
Germany: 16 cases
Spain: 4 cases
Belgium: 1 case
Sweden: 1 case
Finland: 1 case

By this time next week, nearly every country in Europe will have two dozen cases each. Spread will be limited in Eastern Europe as some countries there will take draconian but prudent measures to isolate themselves.

Middle East

Just stick a fork in it, it's done. Every country from Egypt to Iran will be quickly overwhelmed. Expect death tolls to be highest here. The numbers will truly be shocking. This will of course take two weeks to fully fester, but Iran will be the bellwether of what is to come for the rest of the region.

United States

There is still time to prepare but the window is closing. Don't be naive to think that it won't come to America like it has everywhere else. The virus does not care about anything except finding a host and replicating its RNA code like a mindless drone.

If anything, the U.S. is sitting on a powder keg of mental illness, social polarization and an epidemic of entitledness and dependent navel gazers.

In my opinion, we are the ones who have the most reason to be concerned.

I have said that we are 6 to 12 weeks behind china. I think the first Qs will be around the 15th of march. and then worse on out.

I spoke with the county sheriff on Jan 28th and told him what I thought he should expect to see happen and that by mid-march he would be neck deep in handling this. He was gracious and heard me out but i fear i am now the nutter of the county. I have never been taken for a nutter before.

Oh well. 3 more weeks of nutjob then maybe not.

Sure...we have RECORD cases of hospitalizations for flu across the entirety of the lower 48 states.
