It pisses me off more and more each day.

This is a bit old now, but it gives us a good idea of what to expect with babies who get infected.

It also talks about there most likely being many more young children infected, but experiencing mild symptoms and not being tested.

Get the 1000mg tablets or pure powdered form.


The dose of vitamin C needs to be 12,000mg to 30,000mg per day during a pathogen infection.

The rule is if you have a fever you keep taking 1000mg-2000mg every 30 minutes until the fever breaks. (But be aware that high dose vitamin C can cause diarrhea).

After the fever is broken you take 1000mg-2000mg every 1 to 2 hours and you take it to "bowel tolerance". Which means you keep taking the vitamin C and then stop when your intestines/gut starts grumbling. But most people will not reach any "bowel tolerance" point if they are sick and fighting something.

If you symptoms are pretty severe then you might need to consume as much as 50,000 to 100,000mg per day.


Listen to your body. It will tell you how much you need and whether the amount you are taking is working. It usually responds quite quickly to vitamin C treatment. If you're able to break the fever with just vitamin C in an hour or two then you're on the right track for dosage.

Just got off the phone with my buddy whose wife is Chinese. She spoke to the remaining few family members in China. From what I understand food is being delivered directly to people’s doors. They leave money under the mat and delivery person leaves food on the front door mat. If barricaded in by government it’s done differently.

While some of the larger cities this is working well, many it is not. Some have talked about running out of food and other necessities and waiting several days for a delivery.

Also mentioned that one person she talked to says they think they may be the last tenants on their floor. Every couple days someone comes to the door and inquire on their health and asks for their temperature. They are the only door on the floor they knock on. Others have been either taken away or hauled away. Some supposedly are not ill and think there may be some other reason they are being removed. Not all residences are barricaded in. Those which are barricaded are for people not following quarantine.

Also, brown outs and rolling blackouts are occurring. Water pressure is sometimes really low or there is no water at all. Also the water coming in smells of heavy chemicals like chlorine. Tastes funny as well. They are putting water in open containers to save for when water is lower or off and also to let the chemicals to go away.

Basically the underlying term used by my busy was China is pretty much like a ghost town.
