It’s interesting that there were 795 infections on the cruise ship & 6 deaths.

On one hand it’s a perfect scenario to gauge a percentage due to the environment being unchanged for all affected but on the other hand it means there was ‘confinement’ to a degree.

That’s a 0.75% rate, unless I am being stupid & calculating it wrong.

So far there are only 2 cases in Álava; both doctors in the same main hospital, Txagorritxu. And they've been on duty for the past week....

Hi just returned from flea market.I have been called liberal and communist because I told my former friends who are pro government that our government is hiding the truth about coronavirus in Poland.Stupid muppets.I'm far from being liberal or communist (I have right wing views but don't support government).No different opinion is allowed by these assholes supporting pseudo Polish government only their truth is allowed

No, that's not how you calculate it, because most of the cases are not yet resolved. Once everyone has either died or completely recovered, you can use that equation. At the moment, all you can say it is that it will be at least 0.75%. There are still 36 people considered serious, and only 10 recovered.

You could also calculate an approximation for the cruise ship as 6/(6+10)=37.5%. That's also wrong, as many of the mild cases will recover with time (but some of them will become serious and perhaps die, instead). The true answer is between the two, and I'm guessing that the final CFR is going to be 10-15%.

Don't forget that this is with a working health service. Once you run out of treatment facilities... there are 20% need hospital treatment and will likely die without it.
