To know anything about how viruses act, is to know the following:

A - It’s rare for a virus to jump species and infect a human.
B - it’s incredibly rare for that virus to mutate and adapt to humans so well that it is efficiently able to thrive and transmit between humans
C - It’s astronomically rare for a virus that is thriving in human to human transmission to jump species again.
E - You start to get into crazy numbers in discussing the odds of that virus now adapting to and thriving in its new host species.
D - Finally, there aren’t enough numbers for the odds of that same virus now mutating yet again to be able to not only jump species yet again, AND into a form that is once again easily transmissible between humans.

That’s simply not the way viruses work. If they did, there really wouldn’t be life on this planet that wasn’t simply microscopic.

And the argument that it could do all of these things because it was ‘engineered’ to do so is simply beyond the science that anyone has.

No once can successfully engineer a series of mutations on a virus released in the wild. This is the primary reason why biological warfare isn’t a viable option by any military on the planet.

You don't have to be an epidemiologist, to know that coronaviruses (and this is a coronavirus) manifest in many ways, two of the most important one is MUTATION and the other one DORMANCY.

A reinfection with a coronavirus that is the same variant as the one who infected a subject in the first place, is impossible...unless the virus that led to the infection is able to go dormant. But that is not reinfection, is relapsing.


Now, all the know coronaviruses go dormant, from season to season, AND have a new variant from season to season. The flu vaccine that idiots take in 2018, are virtually useless in 2019, and so on, year by year.

They get REINFECTED by the same flu virus...except it is a NEW variant, not big enough to make it a NEW strain, but still it is a NEW variant.


This coronavirus, COVID-19, goes dormant for 2-3 weeks, which is basically impossible...or the subject is getting reinfected by ANOTHER infected guy, who, guess what, have a NEW VARIANT of the same virus.


I think you are unable to differentiate between VARIANT and STRAIN.
