I'm rather shocked at the amount of new cases and deaths today

this is rather usa+europe. rest of the world is not reporting anything of substance. asians are lying insects, rest of the world has no capacity or willingness to deal with this stuff

my prediction based on what i hear is the govern will try to ease restrcitions in US bout Memorial wkend. this is preliminary off the top of my head.

i do not see how it can work.the nation has done lock downs over time.not all areas are at the same point. nor are they all infected at the same level. NYC and Ca and others are much higher than rural areas or even small cities.

could we ease them in NYC PHILLY but expand it for the rest of PA and NYC? at the rates i see, here will need to be locked down tight by Memorial. otherwise we run risk of overwhelming the local hospitals. again i need to do more figuring.

Either we get the herd immunity and/or a vaccine ends it.

yes and no. that works for leaving a metro. u can do that for highways and beltways that surround those. here u couldn't do it. too many roads that lead across statse and county lines.
