I officially hate Co-Vid. I still have my job, I was already telecommuting. My oldest son took off to Las Vegas and got married in early March, they are happy & fine, but we can't have a family celebration. My youngest son, DIL & 2 grand kids live next door, so technically I have family close. BUT. My dog of 9 years got sick and I had to have her put down on Wednesday. My DIL & I took her to her Vet, they had us wait outside, came out with masks on, did the questions, took her back to examine her, Vet came out to talk to me. Told me she was high risk for surgery & probably would not make it, said euthanasia was the best choice. I didn't get to be with her when she left. I needed that, but this damn virus took that from me. I hurt and don't know where to put that. I wake up, and for a split second I'm careful about moving my feet so I don't wake her- but she's not there. I work from my home office- I'll look for her & realize she's not here. I'll go shower & expect to here her coming up the stairs- but nothing. I open the back door & expect to hear her come running. Fuck you Co-Vid. Fuck you.
