Well dingdong, if you can't get your stabdard meds, and there literally no edical cures for Covid-19, then your solution is to panic? So looking at the official numbers of cases in China (not worried if the numbers are accurate at this point), infection number are generally doubling every 72 hours. You can start with any date and see for yourself. So Friday 1/31, we were at 11,300 (give or take); today 2/3 we are at 20,622. Not quite a doubling, but pretty damned close. In the USA, we had 1 reported case on January 21st. today 2/3 we have 11 reported cases - just shy of the doubling again, which should have put us at 12 reported cases today. Let's test this So if USA is at 12 cases today, I suggest we will be right around 24 cases on Thursday night, February 6th and around 48 cases on Sunday, February 9th. In China, I think we will see a number around 21,000 by Thursday night, February 6th and around 42,000 on Sunday, February 9th. If these numbers hold true, I'm pretty sure we are fucked. And, if these numbers hold true, my ass is going to ground on Monday, February 10th. Damn good work man! Thanks! But it's not quite accurate, only because (I believe) we are being lied to by basically everybody. My prediction for today (taped to my work computer) was 58,000 cases. Sadly, I underestimated the Chinese reporting. And yes, I'm still at work waiting to bug out. My co-worker is still out with the "flu," and has been out since Thursday 2.6.2020. Hopefully it doesn’t turn out like my place. We shut down because we had so many people out with the flu. I and a couple others stayed after everyone went home and disinfected the entire office. Sunday I along with the other managers are going to be calling employees to see who is well and who isn’t and if it’s worthwhile to open up on Monday. I’ve been with this company for 18 years and we’ve never closed down like this except for Hurricanes. Where are you located? Roughly. That is where they are supposed to give updates so physicians have the latest intel. It's doubtful that during a genuine pandemic that actual tabulated results would be compiled as first they would be overwhelmed plus the calculations are done at the end of the time period and there would be lags and disgareements on cause of death. |
