Been looking at this thread for a few weeks.

Anyone studied the typical symptoms/disease progression?

I am wondering if this new disease is already making the rounds in AU. I am (very) fit, and never get sick (like 2 years since last sickness (!)), and managed to catch some weird cold with extreme bronchitis 2 weeks ago. Doesn't feel like the flu, feels like a really bad cold with really weird severe stretched out respiratory symptoms. Difficulty breathing too :~ .

Been coughing violently non-stop last week for a few days, then it got better but still kind of crummy :~

It's summer here with 40C days, and flu season should be about 6 months from now.

Going to the GP (doctor) is useless, as all they do is prescribe antibiotics for a runny nose. They don't take things seriously around here.

The feds are big on protocols for the DoD and for every aspect of government and every industry that is an aspect of the Us economy that deals with national security issues. And so if you understand the protocols and what issues theybfret about like pandemics, then they have contingency plans. These are in various reports which are read by Congress and others like Infragard.

That is how they know what to do, and how smart citizen-patriots know what they plan to do when there are national emergencies, or in this case a global emergency that is a medical threat, a supply chain threat, a global security threat as China would wig out with nukes, etc.

Not to mention 330 million starving citizens who can't get their medicines and are suddenly unemployed.

Tomorrow, none of them will remember that we tried to warn them, just like the ‘nothingburgers’ and ‘just the flu’ folks will claim they never said such things.

PS: I’ve been a ‘jerk’ for two weeks now. I feel ya.

For the CFR - I'm assuming that there are plenty more cases outside of the pneumonia cases, which seems to be what the Chinese are (supposedly) counting, although everyday it seems to be a different case definition depending on WHO's defining them.

I'm curious as to what everyone thinks about the Peruvian who died on Jan 17th in LA. I.E. No seeding? Nobody else made it here well before the lockdown / flight restrictions? Etc....

I'm guessing that was an initial seeding case (along with others) and we're going to see Cali (perhaps a few other large Asian pop. cities) start to explode within a much quicker time frame then people expect.

February 14th was when The United Stares would “catch up with where China is at” or something like that. Don’t remember exactly what people were saying. It was thousands of posts ago. Been on this thread since near the start lol. But it seems like each day people keep bringing up “2 weeks until America collapses” or “wait 2 weeks until The US sees people dying”.

But it just isn’t happening. Now I may be proven wrong, and I’ll eat those words while I crap my pants and wish I was right. But I just can’t see how it’s going to be a HUGE deal in anywhere outside of China. Especially when it’s been around for months, with travel all over. Multiple incubation periods burned through. Sick people coming and going. And the only “sick” ones that we have in the US are the ones flown into quarantine.

Of course, they could be lying and there could be thousands of ticking time bombs walking around shedding this COVID-19 soup wherever they go. But I think it’s deeper than that. And I think, outside of Asians, the only thing we will have to worry about is bouncing back from an economic collapse that will rival the Great Depression and the start of WWIII due to this. Because if it in fact does just have this effect on Asians, and Asian men in particular as it has been shown to target more predominantly. It could be interpreted as an “act of war” on China by the US.

I believe this point was brought up earlier. And I believe it is a valid point a lot of people overlook. I think this “virus” is the 9/11 of China. Killing their own people to blame the US into going to war. Only this time, it will be a world at war.
