They haven’t, so it’s safe to assume they’re still faulty. They also haven’t discussed in any detail on how their test samples are being gathered. If they’re not doing oral, anal, AND blood testing on the same patient, then they’re leaving huge gaps in their procedures and allowing false negatives.

One has to consider how much of their faulty tests is purposeful. I’ve said all along that they’re loath to give up control on the narrative. Once hospitals and labs across the country have access to testing, there will most certainly be curios researchers who will test outside of the directed groups. The CDC will no longer be able to write the story on this. The faulty testing (not just the kits) also gives them cover when the outbreak in the US becomes undeniable.

Anyone who is still under the illusion that the CDC is anything but a political organization is terribly naive.
