They brought him in through the ER department and then had security lockdown all entrance into the ER. Once he was moved to isolation, the ER remained closed for 2 additional hours for disinfecting. As far as he knows testing has not happened yet because the patient does not fit the criteria. Note, he had not been in any infected area nor in contact with anyone having it. He called the health care bureau and they told him, he would have to pay the testing fee of EUR 50 or his company. The guy speaks to his company and they told him, he would have to carry the costs. They also said, they will not send him home unless he's tested positive or gets a normal notification of illness from his doctor for "normal" sick leave. That's how it is being handled here. |

She is a very high functioning Autistic- but she really doesn’t process these kind of things well. Really, no purpose to this post other than a safe place to just “get it off my chest.” Thank you for letting me take up space. I also have a high functioning autistic child , he is 17 - also wears hearings aids. He is coping well with the news , and totally gets it that I am prepping , but when reality hits it might be a different story. Autism loves routine , this virus is going to take routine and kick it to the curb.
