He says it's very confused right now as mixed signals are coming from superiors. Those superiors are saying they all are receiving mixed signals from what he says sounds like the state. He also overheard a conversation where two higher levels were discussing how the feds can't seem to get their act together. He says all of his fellow deputies are concerned with mixed signaling they are receiving. He said they've been through emergency situations before (hurricanes) and never had this going on.

I don't think this can be good. It's like nobody from the fed level down to the state level to the local level has any idea what to do. There needs to be some sort of direction coming from the top but it's not there, or well it's there but confused and not sure what it's doing.

If this is happening everywhere we are fucked.

Welp that's me. Got the shelter in place thing going on for my city and surrounding evirons. Add my pop of 3.5 million to the 6 million or so from SF/Bay Area today.

My wife is considered essential, she got the message yesterday. I've been bugged in since 2/20/2020 for the most part. Son is home from the last week of school closures daughter lost her job today until "further notice" advised to file for unemployment.
