Good morning from Indy, my GLP friends. Day 3 of my 7-day quarantine. Wife and I both working from home. No symptoms 10 days after exposure, so I'm assuming I just lucked out and did not get infected.

Morning, y'all. Sitting here drinking coffee catching up on the overnight. Today is the day I usually do absolutely nothing except read GLP and lay on the couch to recover from my weekend shift. It's different today because I'm going to secure my second and "new" job. I did the "new" job for 7 years before I left and returned to the ER.

I left because I was bored and really, really didn't like one of my coworkers. I think boredom will be good these days and I won't have to be in the same office as my coworker. I'll be helping coordinate a drive through testing clinic so if I get bored I'll suit up and join them.

Coordinating is going to be different, but working back with ESF8 will be like going home. Some faces have changed, but after being back in the clinical setting I am able to see what they need, what they actually DO. None of my new/old coworkers have worked in a clinical setting in YEARS so I'll be a set of fresh eyes for them and the nurses in the ER's.

I have to do both jobs for a few weeks while my 2 weeks marinates. I will not quit on the spot because I don't like burning bridges. I may need to return to that ER one day and I'd like to have that option.

Take care today and I'll check back in tonight. Going to be posting a little less until I transition to just one job, but I'll be lurking in the shadows!!

Luis, I think we should watch closely all these places with great experience with maleria and these drugs- we will end up looking stupid if we drag our feet in the US. The safety profiles are well, well established. Much more than the vaccine they are rushing, that's for sure.
