Berate me if you must, but I'd LOVE to go to WDW right now. It's going to be the cleanest, safetest it will ever be. They want it to be PROVEN to be safe and clean so the first few weeks will be awesome there. Low crowds, low lines, people abiding by the rules just to be there. Sounds like a good time to me!

I ignore the rate anyways because i know China lied so hard and continue to lie about their covid deaths at such an insane rate that they crush the real death rate massively. So as someone who really suffered from mental illness before all this began, there is a sense of hopelessness now that is really hard to shake. The mental health crisis surrounding all this may be equally as destructive as the virus itself.

Four nurses from the Alrijne care group in South Holland have been infected with the coronavirus, presumably after an incident involving a patient's family member. The family member had tested positive for the coronavirus, which the hospital knew about. However, the infected person disposed of protective equipment on site, out of dissatisfaction with the staff about the treatment of the patient.

It cannot be established with certainty that the nurses contracted the contamination from the incident with the angry family member, but the hospital still sees sufficient reason to report it, because of the "shocking experience".

* If convicted the person who infected gets a few months free lodging at his majesty's pleasure. In Belgium he would get a few years...

All good suggestions. I meditate, avoid social media, and try to get out in nature as often and as safely as possible. Sunlight and the outdoors seem to at least temporarily shake the depression and sense of overwhelming, impending doom.

I am sorry you're going through this. I can only imagine how this feels to you. I've had issues with anxiety myself, but it's under control now. As a RN and someone who used to work in Forensic psychology, I urge you to seek help from a professional or from a dear friend you trust.

I understand your feelings :). WDW has been my happy place for years. We spent our honeymoon there in January....and came home with the flu plus what we believe was Covid. After seeing what I do day in and day out I need a break from reality. Unless people work in it, they don't understand.

I'm glad we can have differing opinions and still remain cordial. Maybe I've reached adulthood. HAHA

So, the cousin who tested positive...we thought that was the end of the story. Except he was hanging out with another cousin. Now #2 has symptoms and tested negative. Doc told him tests have about a 10% false negative and given the exposure with symptoms that he should quarantine and they will test him again in a couple of days.

Hopefully it stops there, except he lives with his dad...
A couple more hops and it potentially reaches my in-laws.

Also, it seems there has been zero official contact tracing.
