Some Polish Professor estimates that 30 % of Poles will have Covid-19 most without symptoms by the end of October.By the end of year it will 50 % most without symptoms.Getting close to herd immunity ?Sorry I know some of you think this herd immunity is bullshit ,there are reinfections but very rare at the moment.I'm not sure about this herd immunity but in case when 90-100 % of people get this how can be there more infections ?
Quoting: Pillar of Poland I would believe in herd immunity if there was only 1 strain, not 6 different ones. Immunity to one variation does not mean immunity from the others. Also "reinfection is rare" is only due to the "official" reports. Do they count the DOAs that died 35 days after their last symptom if they were indeed covid positive? Or do they consider them recovered and dying of something else? There were 4 DOA calls this morning on the scanner. Wonder how many were covid positive.
