Can you be more specific? I can't find any studies searching covid and stomach/gastronomic that are relevant in the past year. Excluded Dormant cause that seems speculative.

This is pretty speculative given what we know. The calculations come down to ((Number of people Diagnosed) * (Assumed number of people not diagnosed) * (Duration of Being Infectious))/(Population)

We know two of those for sure, the other are currently guesstimated as convenient. Given that the CDC uses 1:10 for Assumed people not Diagnosed for IFR and we can safely infectiousness is 5-10 days we are looking at more like 1 in 10 to 1 in 20.

Does alcohol help to be safe from Covid? I read nicotine doesn't make a difference?

Age and pre-existing conditions are more important.

Most of our hospitals are not overwhelmed ....yet.

Smoking mildly protects against getting covid, if you get it though you are worse off.

Smoking and drinking are not bad, but they have a effect on your expected life expectancy. But none of that really bothers you. If you answered the question I asked I could have given a estimation based on the data that we have for the netherlands.

Bingo! The US is an extremely litigious country compared to India. An attorney who knew how to work the system would turn this into a class action suit in no time.
