He didnt deliver shit. What the hell is wrong with you trumptards. Do you even recognize how batshit crazy yall sound?

How does ignoring a virus and squashing any sort of stand against its spread ever considered a damn miracle? This clown has made fools of so many dumbasses it is a nightmare to behold. And obama did it with his minions too. Yall are all the same and dont even know it.

A vaccine isnt a miracle. And this vaccine is going to fail miserably. It is all about money. And total bullshit.

Explain why all of Europe is having a massive spike right now. How did Trump cause that to happen?

He didn't. The poor handling of this pandemic by government officials is not exclusive to the United States.

But he could have led the rest of the world by example. This was Donald Trump's Presidential crisis-of-the-century, and he had an opportunity to shine and prove everyone who had been putting him down for three years wrong.

He failed to take advantage of that opportunity. But he is not alone in that failure.

And honestly, I don't know that Hillary would have handled it any better or worse. I've been saying for months this is a no-win scenario. You either sacrifice the people to save the economy, or you sacrifice the economy to save the people. It's impossible to do both. I know what I would have done. Trump chose differently.

I'm not a fan of lockdowns, but I think the only way you could have done one successfully is to lock everyone and everything down for a month.

First step is to allow people to obtain essential supplies for the lockdown. Allow them time to receive deliveries of essential and non-essential goods if these are already planned and in progress.

Second, ensure that essential services like police, fire and ambulance and hospitals are available. But make sure that the people in these services are segregated from their families for the period of the lockdown, so they don't spread the virus to others outside of the people they come into contact with as part of their normal job duties.

Do the same with power plant, water treatment, sewage plant workers and public works crews.

The same goes for people working in retirement homes, assisted living and long-term care facilities.

No travel into or out of the country except for dire emergencies, and all travellers must stay in quarantine facilities 14 days before departure and 14 days after their return.

You would need to set up temporary living facilities for everyone who works in essential services during the lockdown. How you would do this is the $64,000 question, as the logistical issues involved would be massive, and how do you feed everyone in these facilities?

The idea of course, is to let the virus burn out on its own for lack of available hosts.

Australia and New Zealand came close to achieving this for a short while. But, as everyone knows, it only takes one person who is infected after the lockdown ends to wipe out the gains made from the lockdown.

At this stage of the game, we'd better hope and pray that the vaccines work, because with no effective vaccine, we'll never be able to return to anything approaching the normalcy that we knew before the pandemic started.

The only hope we have outside of a vaccine is that the virus mutates on its own to a vastly less lethal and dangerous form. So far, we've seen no evidence of that happening, and herd immunity to SARS-CoV-2 is no more possible than achieving herd immunity to the common cold.

Speaking of lockdowns

Post-lockdown SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid screening in nearly ten million residents of Wuhan, China

Findings from this study show that COVID-19 was well controlled in Wuhan at the time of the screening programme. After two months since the screening programme (by August 9, 2020), there were no newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wuhan
