COVID-19 vaccine status- 78 active projects ongoing. Most vaccines aim to induce neutralizing antibodies against the viral spike (S) protein, preventing uptake via the human ACE2 receptor. Vaccine could be available fo emergency use by early 2021.
The vaccines do not attach to ACE2 receptors like SARS-COV-2, so NO they don't attack your guts.
